Re: 2011 Los Angeles Regional
Yeah. Even though they beat us in the semi's, we were totally stoked that RAWC won the regional and punched their ticket to champs.
Hopefully we'll be in the same division, we want to play again. |

599 gives our condolonces to the Roughriders. We're sorry for your loss.
Congradulations to RAWC, Torbots, and Team Sprocket. Hopefully, we'll be able to see you again in St. Louis! And the same goes for D'Penguineers, Beach Bots, and GreyBots - we hope we'll meet you in St. Louis. Also, congradulations to the Bagel Bytes. You guys did a phenomenal job getting the Phoenix back on the field. And finally, congradulations to Eagle Robotics, on the Gracious Professionalism award. You guys deserved it! |

From what the 399 members involved told me, It was really fun to slap together a robot in a day. Thanks to every single one of our alliance partners during the competition. Especially the following: 294 - For selecting us to be a part of their alliance(Returning the favor from the SD finals? )2339(our friends from across town) - for becoming an awesome part of this alliance 1702 - For stepping in during Qual 79 in lieu of team 1366 to become part of our alliance Thanks to team 330, 1717, and 1515 for putting up one heck of a fight during semifinals. Too bad you just barely lost(in the finals). I hope 330 and 1515 fixes any problems with their robots. It was fun playing with you guys! Hopefully we will see you at St. Louis! Personally, I think it was really fun being on that field as a member of our drive team. Great event! Our condolences go out to team 1366 for their loss. Re: 2011 Los Angeles Regional
I would like to deeply and sincerely congratulate TorBots. Not only were you part of the winning alliance, you exemplified the kind of enthusiasm and attitude that every FIRST team should strive for. You made qualifiers a joy to play, and I find myself unable to stop gushing about the personal caliber of your drive team.
Additionally, as a human player who often found himself in the "enemy camp" when feeding, I want to commend the Robodox drive team for their friendly demeanor even when were on the field on opposing alliances. All in all, a wonderful regional. |

Re: 2011 Los Angeles Regional
All of us at Team 3309 want to extend our condolences and prayers to 1366 and the young woman's family. As we finish the remainder of our season back at school and prepare for next year, they will be in our hearts and minds.
Another question...how long do the robots take to arrive back home? We're in Anaheim so not too far from Long Beach but I'm curious how long the shipping usually takes. |
