Website Excellence

Is there anyway to find out about the website excellence awards? Our team's site, pobots.com, has improved greatly over the last couple of years, and we managed to win the excellence award both of the last two years. However, we were disappointed to not hear anything announced at the regional this year.

The following is from the FIRST Robotics Competition Website Award Criteria document.

Award Presentation
The winners of each Regional Best Website and the Championship Best website will be presented with a trophy at the event and will receive an emailed electronic certificate following the Championship. Teams that earn the Website Excellence award will receive an emailed electronic certificate following the Championship.

They do not announce Website Excellence winners at the event.

They most certainly do. At Boilermaker Regional, 461 won the award and it was announced. And in that paragraph it says "will be presented with a trophy at the event". So i would imagine they wouldnt just randomly hand it to your team. Rather; they'd announce the winner. But to the OP, im sorry, im not sure why the winner wasnt announced. They usually give the website award the first day of the competition though so maybe you missed it.

Ed Law's point was that they do not announce Website Excellence winners at each district/regional. They announce the Best Website Award.
