Re: Team Match Schedules?
If you get the FRC Spyder app for android, you can get the list of matches for a specific team for the qualification matches. I don't know about a quick way for the practice matches though.

![]() One other method is to copy & paste the entire schedule into an excel spreadsheet and write some VB code that searches for matches with your team number and copies those matches to a new sheet. Our scouting spreadsheet has had that functionality for a few years. Of course we don't really use that anymore because everyone uses FRC Spyder. |

Re: Team Match Schedules?
The FMS has the ability to do this, and they can print a copy for just your team's matches. However, they usually don't because it is very very long. (When you have 50+ teams)
Usually, there is 1 or 2 copies at Pit Admin that you can go and borrow or copy from. |

Re: Team Match Schedules?
Find a student who is not very busy in the morning, have that student get a pen and paper and start writing. Some things can be done with ancient technology.
If you have a laptop and a printer, you could get that student to type it and print several copies. I usually take a picture of the match schedule so I'll have it on my camera, it's not easy to search but it does have the info. I should start bringing a typewriter with me to have in the pits...just to show kids what we used to put up with... |

Re: Team Match Schedules?
Indeed.
I print the entire schedule once it's posted online (usu. Thursday night). I use a highlighter and mark every match that contains my team ... I eyeball-check my paper highlights with Firefox' CTRL-F "Highlight All" feature when viewing the Qual Schedule. Fold it, stuff it into my back pocket. Over the course of Friday and Saturday, I was asked dozens of times by my students, "do you know our next match?"... I just pull out the folded copy and point. Faster than any smartphone, easier to use than viewing a camera image. (If the hotel you're staying at has a "Business Center", learn to use their printer) |

Re: Team Match Schedules?
For a guy who likes his phone, you sure complain a lot about it. Sooner or later you'll take off your Canadian blinders.
To all of you extolling the virtues of pen & paper, highlighters, idle students, typewriters, etc, I challenge you to retrieve the event schedule for any given team faster than a smartphone app. |

Re: Team Match Schedules?
If you are on a computer, hit Ctrl + f, then type in your team number and it will be highlighted for each match.
