Fields in the pit? is it true?

I heard something about the fields this year. can it be that some of the games will be in the pit because its far from the dome?

The pits and field are much closer than they were in Atlanta, though, even for the arena-based fields. If it takes more than 5-10 minutes depending on field, you're taking a really lousy route.
