Re: College Acceptances
PSU Lehigh Valley: Accepted (Mechanical Engineering)
WPI: Waitlisted RPI: Waitlisted RIT: Accepted (Computer Engineering) Kutstown: Accepted (Undeclared) US Coast Guard Academy: Declined Lehigh University: Declined Bucks County Community College: Accepted (Undeclared) I have decided to attend PSU because of an internship I landed in the area. Though I will be driving 83 miles a day, its still cheaper than anywhere else I want to go. |

Our programmer's going for compsci, our build captain is going for some engineering at CIT, and I'm probably going, but HSS/MCS. I don't know what we're all planning to do with FIRST right now, but it's been a fun four years...maybe start a Wiredcats north, lol. |

Re: College Acceptances
You will meet a lot of FIRSTers at CMU especially if you take any classes in the robotics department.

I am one of the few who love FIRST not going into engineering. Yay!
I am planning on attending Western Washington University next year and studying City and Regional Planning. |

. You will be surprised that a lot of them were prior military officers. And well, this is from Prescott's point of view (don't know about Daytona). And have you thought of joining Det 028 instead of Det 157 ? We have 'better' AFROTC program than Daytona, hehe (inside joke). We are even called "Best of the West" . But seriously, cadre here is just fantastic.P.S. to double(?) your chance of receiving AFROTC scholarship, apply for High School scholarship, as in-college scholarship is very competitive(due to Air Force/DoD's budget issues and AF looks for only EE/CE for express scholarships). Even EA(Enrollment allocation) will be very competitive as AF is reducing their overall personnel assets. Last edited by bls0620 : 23-04-2011 at 05:54. |
