Preview of CNN Doc on FIRST!

CNN was also filming Dean and a team at Smoky Mountain. Gave our field crew quite a headache at times trying to keep them safe and out of the way.

It will be a 1 hour with commercials, so 45 min. That is a lot of footage!
I am curoious to see if anything changes for us oe any team after the doc airs. We could sure use more sponsors, we lost most of them due to the economy.

Congratulations and a big thank you to the teams that participated. Although it may seem very exciting at first, it is really a difficult task to juggle the success of the kids with the needs of the documentary crew.

When we worked with PBS back in 2008, it made for a tough (but rewarding) season. I don't know who the other teams are, but 1403 is awesome and will represent FIRST well in the film. I can't wait to see it.

Last year we had the AZ republic follow us all year and then CNN called and asked. It is a little more challenging, but you are right about it being worth it!

Both teams that I know of, 842 and 1403, are great teams in FIRST and I cannot wait to see how it all turns out. They will both represent the true meaning of FIRST and what FIRST is all about. I'm sure CNN did a fantastic job!
