Hey everybody, just to let you know, We'll be doing another EWCPcast tomorrow night about how the Championship is shaping up. If there's anything you'd like us to discuss or look into, feel free to post it up here, or on our Facebook Page. We're going to try to get some new people in as well, so it should be good.

Any more information on this? Price point? mandatory or optional? Changes other than the number of expansion card slots? Availability?

This is just my opinion, but I'm sure it'll be optional.
Only rookies will get the new minis, while the vets continue with what they have.
Replacing 2000 working veteran units wouldn't make much sense for NI, especially for such an expensive donated component.

The only deal for FIRST is that there will have to be two different sets of FPGA images to manage and maintain.

Price point mentioned was $550 for the chassis and three modules (I assume: analog, digital, solenoid).

An update on this, I am encoding it to MP3 right now. Going to do a bit of touching up on this and will get it posted. I'll have the file on my laptop tomorrow and it will also be hosted. You can grab the file either way and I will post the link as soon as I get it uploaded.

We discussed impressions of the venue and the event so far. We tried to be honest and say what we thought. We then discussed the matches so far. We didn't get into as much detail this time because we were all tired and, as you can see, it is 1am local time and I just got back from the talk.

Hope you guys are enjoying listening as much as we enjoy making them.

Edit: I'm struggling to get it encoded for some reason. I'll upload it in the morning because it is 130 and I'm really tired.

We won't be doing a cast tonight, as many of the EWCP teams are pretty wrapped up in scouting discussions for tomorrow. Our Cast from last night appears to have been messed up or something - we're trying to get it up still, but there's not much point since the discussion is pretty irrelevant as many teams have stepped up their match play pretty seriously."

If you need any tips tomorrow, feel free to come find me, I'll probably be somewhere with 2415 helping them with strategy.
