I see nothing wrong with a team opening another chat. There wasn't a public outcry when chiefdelphi opened their chat, or when Cyber Blue did theirs. I agree with Andrew that the Tigerbolt chat is severely lacking in technical discussion. If his chat room can fill that void the it's better for the FIRST community. If you can figure out how to get the technical crowd to your chat room, more power to you.
