"Who sent you?"
"Yo momma."

I haven't seen it yet, but I think those lines from the preview gave me enough entertainment.

Sorry, my bad...

My mind totally went blank and I was thinking of the wrong person... I meant to say Pierce Brosnan.

Ian Fleming was the writer of the Bond genre...

I was thinking 2 totally different things to write and mixed them.

What about "Live and Let Die" by Paul McCartney? Horrible movie, great song. Another good one is "A View to A Kill" by Duran Duran.

Overall I was disappointed by the latest Bond, it didn't seem much like a typical Bond movie. It reminded me more of a modern action film with some Bond jokes thrown in. Bond doesn't escape in the opening sequence? Unheard of. Bond actually in bed with a woman? It's usually left implied. The writers obviously ditched creativity with respect to the innuendos and turned to more vulgar statements.

Decent movie, but not a good Bond movie. Maybe if I see it again I'll like it more.

I dunno what that song sounds like actually, the only Live and Let Die I know of is by GnR, same one or not?

And I do agree they ditched creativity and went for vulgarity, I thought this was a very vulgar Bond movie, it was definitely not in line with the genre.

So what's with this ice chase I keep hearing about? I never got a chance to see the movie yet. Actually, my dad prefers to watch it when the DVD comes out.

It's a very unrealistic scene with an Aston Martin and Jaguar (Nice Fords!) on a huge strip of ice.

Is that supposed to imply that Bond movies are generally realistic?

Meh. Bond movies have always had quite a bit of vulgarity (in the one liners and in the visuals), especially post-Sean Connery. I don't think that necessarily makes a Bond movie bad. Everyone who has seen one from Dr. No to The World is not Enough knows what they're getting into when they buy the movie ticket (or VHS/DVD)... it's a lot of blue screened action sequences, a lot of scantily clad women, and Bond making jokes at other peoples' misfortune/stupidity which only make us laugh because it isn't real life. I, personally, find this especially entertaining when Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan portray Bond. Yeah... I just woke up. Sorry if this makes no sense. Laters.

It was unrealistic even for a bond movie

Maybe it's just me, but this one did seem way more vulgar than (then?) they usually are.

You wanna talk about 'realism' in a Bond movie? Watches with lasers powerful enough to cut through steel (Goldeneye). Class 4 grenade in a pen (Goldeneye). I could go on about the gadgetry of the previous movies, but how about this...

Goldeneye's Bad Physics

Even More of Goldeneye's Bad Physics

The World Is Not Enough's Bad Physics

(I realize that these websites are basically limited to the physics of Bond movies, but in all actuality, what else is there?)

With a few more minutes, and Google at your fingertips, or even perhaps paying attention to the kinds of things that go on in Bond movies, you can come to the realization that they really aren't all that "realistic." Trying to point at this latest movie as being unrealistic, and therefore bad, is pretty pointless, especially when saying that this latest film is even less realistic than any of the others.

As for the vulgarity of a bond movie, what do you say about "James Bond's all time high"?

I realize that none of them are realistic; however, have you tried to drive a car on ice? Well neither of them seemed to have a problem steering or anything. I just didn't like the film overall, it also seemed to have a lot of things taken from other Bond movies too (Halle Berry's Belt, Laser Trying to cut her head off (it was Bond before, and it wasn't going for his head with the brain))

That was one of the most blatant Bond puns. I still think this one is much more vulgar, a lot of the puns were just annoying cause they were so obvious.

i liked the movie a lot overall. the driving on the ice couldve been better if they had slid around more. still, i liked it a lot. especially the aston martin v12 vanquish, or "vanish" as Q called it. i saw a few things i didnt care for, the ice driving one of them, but its all good. still a good movie.
