AC3D - Does anyone here use this

I beleive my team uses AC3D becasue it looks fimiliar but i'm not exactly sure

I used Blender for my Intro to Virtual Reality course a couple years ago.

Until recently I had not been aware of AC3D. I now know of a couple of people using it and for reasons too long to get into here I was wanting to know if it was really used for anything and for what.
