Go to Post FIRST is hard. It's supposed to be. We can't keep giving people a check and expecting them to succeed. We need to stop this model. It takes a village to raise a child but it takes a community to build a FIRST team. - Andrew Schreiber [more]

AndyMark Sprockets & Chain

  1. Where I can find a CAD of AndyMark's double strand 15-tooth #35 sprocket (http://www.andymark.com/product-p/am-0421.htm)
  2. Will this sprocket be sufficient for power transfer in the drivetrain?
  3. How can I wrap a chain around AndyMark sprockets (in CAD)

Re: AndyMark Sprockets & Chain

1. You can get the model of the sprocket here:
Inventor 2009
STEP (you have to right click and do save as in some browsers)
2. Yes, thats how they are used in the kit chassis
3. You really dont need to model the individual links but if you must I would use an insert constraint to make the links into a strand and then use the concentric constraint around each tooth on the sprocket as well as a flush so that the links line up with the edge of the sprocket.
