Sorry for the confusion, I did send you a private message about the issue when I saw this thread; I signed up with the VC a couple months ago to do it. This isn't the best way to find out the position you thought you'd be doing was filled. I think the takeaway is that if you want a position at an event, you've got to actually talk to the VC and make sure.

The only stuff I will be bringing is my laptop and a couple cables. I will still need a mixing board and I think Steve bought one for the event, so you probably won't need to bring anything.

I never talked to the VC last year either. Mr. Ketron just told me i was doing it as he did this year. I will keep that in mind for future events.
