VALENTE - Gabriella "Gabby" Jeanne Valente, aged 16, of Kentwood, passed away very unexpectedly from accidental injuries and went to be with her Lord on Monday, July 18, 2011. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, John Weissert and cousin, Michael Hoffmann. Surviving are her loving parents, Robert and Barbara Valente; brother, Nicolas Valente; grandparents, Patricia Weissert, Gilardo and Concetta Valente; aunts and uncles, Eric and Kristin Kiekintveld, Karl and Donna Hoffmann, Anthony Valente, Jerry and Debbie Valente; many cousins. Funeral services for Gabby will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Millbrook Christian Reformed Church, 3661 Poinsettia SE, with Rev. Will Hensen officiating. Interment Pine Hill Cemetery. Her family will meet relatives and friends, Friday 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood and Saturday at the church one hour prior to the service. I did not know Gabby very well, but I will still mourn her loss. She was a proud member of Code Red Robotics, team 2771
