This is correct, a supershifter has a 5" square face. Looking at a supershifter head on the shaft comes out of a hole 1.5" from the right, and 1.5" from the bottom, this necessitates it being rotated 90 degrees when you place it on the other side, in order for the shafts to line up. (It you don't understand draw it on a piece of paper and then flip it to replicate being placed on both sides, and you will get it.)
