2011 girlPOWER invitational

Team 433 is happy to announce the 2nd annual girlPOWER invitational!
This year's will be held at Mount Saint Joseph Academy in Flourtown, Pennsylvania (about 15 minutes outside of Philly) on October 8th. Please save the date! Additional information (fees, times, and such) will be coming soon.

Important notes:
1. While this is an all-girls event (POWER stands for Promoting Outstanding Women Engineers through Robotics), you don't have to be an all-girls team to participate. However, during the competition, only girls and mentors are allowed in the pits and only girls are allowed to drive the robot
2. If your team can't make it, bring a friend and come watch! We had a lot of fun last year, and this year there will be a college row with scholarship information
3. We had a large showing of grade school girls last year, especially girls in FLL. If you know of kids or teams who would like to come, we'd love to have them! Like last year, we will have the FRC competition along with FRC and FLL demonstrations.

Thanks to all the teams who came last year! We can't wait to expand this year!
