Did you also install the required LabVIEW update http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/2261/lang/en and the utilities update http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/2262/lang/en from the National Instruments web site?

Aha! That did the trick. It seems that the common feature wasn't that they were all 64-bit, it was that they were all new.
