Mentor help?

Is there anyone or any teams that want to mentor our Royal Oak team, this FIRST season? please let me know, it could benefit us both!

Re: Mentor help?

We probably couldn't mentor you, since we're in a whole other state, but we certainly can help you in any ways possible! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns (lol, to formal?), feel free to contact the Robo Rams! We'd be more then happy to help with anything you may have!

Thanks!!! Do you think that it would be a good idea to have another team mentor us our rookie year, or learn as we go?

Re: Mentor help?

If it's your rookie year, have ALL the teams mentor you! Back to being serious, you can't have all the teams mentor you, but there are some VERY GOOD ONES in Pontiac, Michigan (hint hint nudge nudge team 51 Wings of Fire). I'd suggest searching for other teams in Pontiac, and asking them to help you this year. I'm sure they'd be glad to, since that's what FIRST is about! And if you ever need any more help, the folks on Chief Delphi will be more than happy to do what they can to help your team!

Re: Mentor help?

I think its kinda weird that Detroit has so many teams, but right accross the river Windsor only has 1! (My Team 772). We are trying to start another team. There use to be about 4 in total, but as the recession hit they all fell under. We are also starting a FLL team this year for the First time. If you need help with mentoring... you know where to find me

Re: Mentor help?

I'm from Royal Oak but I go to school at Michigan Tech during the FRC season. Last year I helped start a rookie team up here and it went pretty well. You can email me with any questions you have about the FRC or for some contacts in the Royal Oak area. my email is ctputter@mtu.edu if you want any consultation.
