Jaguar not spinning

Robot turned on - none of the jaguars are spinning - blinking orange light.
all victors - spinning - blinking orange light.
disconnected one of the jaguars and tested it directly to a battery - spinned for aprox. half a second...

what do we do? is something seriously wrong? or is it easy to fix?

This is an automatic feature of the Jaguar, the Jag will spin up when it gets heated up under load.

I wouldn't worry about it unless you're running the motor that the Jag is controlling and the fan doesn't spin up then.

What James is explaining is the fan controller only turns the fan on when certain conditions require it. If the temperature inside exceeds a set point or if the Jaguar has been commanded to supply current to a motor. This is an attempt to conserve battery by allowing the fans to run only when needed.

You clearly have no signal to any of your speed controllers, indicated by the slow yellow blink on both types of speed controllers. The victor fans are powered directly off of the incoming power to the victors, whereas the jags only turn on their fans when under load and the jag is heating up.

Just to be clear:

Until the Jaguar is told to drive the motor, it keeps the fan off.

Once the Jaguar is told to drive the motor, it turns the fan on, and keeps it on while driving the motor.

If the Jaguar is told to turn off the motor, it keeps the fan on for 10s and after that time if the internal temperature of the Jaguar is within a safe limit, it will turn the fan off.
