Reaching out to schools
Hey Delphi,
I recently started going to college and I'm attempting to start a rookie team in San Francisco (can you believe they don't have 1 FRC team in SF??). Anyway, I'm wondering how I should reach out to the schools. Who do I contact? What exactly do I say to them? Thanks! |

Re: Reaching out to schools
I would start by reading this thread - http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=47004 - and then read it again. Then come back tomorrow and read it a third time.
It's hard enough to help mentor a team while you are in college. To try to start a team would be insanely time-consuming. As much good as FIRST does for students, sometimes we have to accept our own limitations. |
