Just wanted to say that from looking at some of the rookie teams for the 2012 season, the numbers are going as high (or at least I have seen) as 9999 (Cyberteeth from Northwestern High School in Kokomo, IN).

Any another rumors of new teams joining?

These are not real numbers. Rookies currently have temporary numbers.

Where did you see this, Rei? If it's from the CAGE Match website, it's because they have not yet been assigned an official number from FIRST, but we still need them to have a number to put them in the FMS. If you'll notice, the KNERDS have the number 9501 because they're using 1501's secondary robot.
