Go to Post first post and the FRC "well what is a stick" comes in. Toothpick, does it need to be round, does a carbon fiber chain of Buckie balls count as a stick. CD posters are sooooo predictable. - Foster [more]

What do they need to modify on the LV side? Very little.

All of the WPI library is written in LV, and I currently have a copy of LV2011 with WPIlib 2011 installed in vi.lib (it works fine for writing code so far, I ve yet to do a build/download). It's not modifying LV, it's writing LV code and putting it in VI.lib as a library.

Re: LabVIEW Version for 2012

I'm guessing (and hoping) for 2010. I will be really suprised if it's 2011, they like to be a version back to make sure any bugs in the RT stuff have been found and addressed. I heard somewhere that they skipped moving to 2009 last year because of some RT issues, so if it's not going to be 8.6 then it's probably going to be 2010.

I have been anxiously waiting to find out, as I don't want to get my new programmers going on too new a version and have them get used to features that will not be in the competition version.

I guess I'll find out in a few days when the beta DVD shows up in my mailbox.
