Chief Delphi Forums Get Together

I would like to propose that a Cheif Delphi Forum Get Together be held at every regional including the National Regional At EPCOT. I volunteer Pit #64 at Seattle, Los Angeles, and EPCOT. If you are a contributor to the Forums, stop by and say hello.

Yeah, it would be really cool to meet you guys in real life. I doubt I'll be there the whole time, but I should be at the 365 pit at Drexel, VCU, and epcot. By the way, for those of you who haven't talked to me on AIM, or are lazy like me and don't really look at profiles, my name is Brian Gattman (there are 2 Brians on the team). I'd just like to add that the MOE pit should stand out this year...

Now this topic I have to put my words in... Everyone knows I am all about meeting people.

So, instead of just having a few "get together" at different regionals, I suggest we have one in all the regionals. Obliviously none of us can show up at EVERY regional... So, how about, we have a least one person for each regional who's interested in this take lead in getting people for a "get together"?

It should've been too much work, because later, there will always be threads like, "Who is going to ******** regional?", or some sort "******* regional check in!!!". And by then, people who are interested in getting together can just start a post at the end asking, "who is interested in getting together~?".

And as Andrew Rudolph said, there is already web hug at Epcot during the championship event, so let's leave Chief Delphi to that.

I will leave Ken Lyod for Seattle and LA... because he volunteered the fastest. However, there can always be more than one person help get people together, like e-mailing some of the forum members you know who will be attending certain regionals.

Mean while, I volunteer for San Jose!

All I have to say is.....make sure you set a meeting time & place beforehand that you can all realistically attend...we had that problem with the mini webhug in UTC.

I know that a lot of us are also going to the different kickoffs. Maybe we can all get together then too. I know that I will be at the NH one.

I'll volunteer to be chief photographer for at least the New England, possibly NYC too (not pos. on if I'm going to that one)..... though I think someone like Jess would be best off getting the people together

Looks like we may have to make all of you taking the lead at the various sites, ChiefDelphi "Scouts"! You know unofficial members of team 47 or something - I'll talk to the powers that be and see what we can come up with for ya. I'm sure Mr. Martus will take the lead for the annual webhug at EPCOT.

We need sone futuristic ideas to make the "Web Hug" at Epcot an event that all will remember.

Timing is everything. Please brainstorm when and where such an event is best practiced.
