Robobees song - Celebrating FIRST

I just had to share this with the CD community! One of our students, who is was on our Chairman's team last year, and is the team captain this year, wrote a song. She then took video and pictures from last year's season and created a music video!

Some people ask "Why do you mentor a bunch of High School kids on that Robotics team?" I get to say that I get more out of it than I could ever give! Who wouldn't want to work with a bunch of creative kids like these! They are such a blessing to all of us mentors!

Steve

Re: Robobees song - Celebrating FIRST

I love it She's an amazing singer. The lyrics to it are just ever so true, and sends the right message.

And yes, my friends do think I'm weird for wanting to drive a 'bot with jaws of steel

Anyone interested in a live version?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...v=hZ4ngwIL5no#!

I asked the announcer at Duel on the Delaware to call her up and have her sing it for us live. The recording doesn't quite do it justice, but it was amazing.

I like the live version better than the recorded one! I'm not saying the recorded one is bad, just that the live version is better!

Alright I am not a fan of pop but that was amazing! Now when that song plays, I will think of the RobotBees and how FIRST changes every pop culture element.
