Overload on Kickoff Mornin

It seems that on the Saturday at the end of the first full week of the new year, FRC teams are overloaded on more than just Hot Chocolate
I've noticed in past years, I always had issues logging on to FIRST site to view the Kickoff for quite a bit.
How does your teams help prevent this? Have y'all encounted this often in the past?

Download the encrypted game manual onto your computer/smart phone in advance (they put it up on the website before kickoff), and then once they give the code during Kickoff, you will be able to use it right away since it is already on your device. Eventually once the FIRST site has calmed down, you can download the unencrypted one to use.

This. I loaded all the encrypted sections on my iPad, then typed down the password once it was revealed, then copied it and pasted into each of the documents to be able to unlock them as desired. Was handy for a first read-through over lunch before dropping the hammer back to Columbia.

I will be surprised if there is an issue this year.

They've moved the www.usfirst.org website to a GSLB CDN.

And I feel like this year every one will be trying to download the pre-recorded kick off cast so that might hold some things up also.

They put last year's cast on YouTube not too long after the event. Since it's prerecorded, it could be up even sooner.
