2CAN 2.0

2CAN 2.0 is now available. The new device will be replacing the orginal 2CAN. 2CAN 2.0 has an improved power connection, additional Flash and RAM, and enhanced ESD protection. Support will remain in place for both devices. Firmware and user manual updates to follow.

Re: 2CAN 2.0

Do you have updated documentation on connecting the 2CAN to the new CRIO II? The new CRIO has only 1 ethernet port.

The documentation has not been updated to reflect using only a single port.

However using the method described to connect to port one will work fine. Just make sure the IP is on the same subnet 10.x.x.x as the port you are connecting to and that the 2CAN IP is unique, the firmware utility takes care of this for you. See the attached screen shot of the firmware utility.
