Here is the link for students to register - it is limited to students from certain communities - First Wind, an independent North American wind energy company focused on the development, ownership and operation of wind energy projects, has established a scholarship program to assist high school seniors from communities in partnership with First Wind. This scholarship is offered for full-time study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university of the student's choice. The program is administered by Scholarship Management Services, a division of Scholarship America. Scholarship Management Services is the nation's largest designer and manager of scholarship and tuition reimbursement programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Who is eligible? Applicants to the Scholarship Program must meet all of the following criteria: Must be a high school senior currently attending a public or private high school in one of the following communities: Laie, Oahu, HI Maui, HI Danforth, ME Dyer Brook, ME Ellsworth, ME Hancock, ME Mars Hill, ME Penobscot County, ME (Burlington, Lee, Lincoln, Winn) Sullivan, ME Cohocton, NY Hamburg, NY Lackawanna, NY Beaver, UT Milford, UT Barton, VT Sheffield, VT Whitman County, WA (Garfield, Oakesdale, Roasalia, Saint John, Spangle, Tekoa) or attending John D.
