 You all have ample time to get your sleep in from the final day of nationals to the friday before kickoff. There should be no reason why anyone will need sleep for the next 6 weeks and then some. What made you choose magnesium?
It's about 40% less dense than aluminum, but it's yield strength is nearly 4 times lower than 6061 and it's ultimate strength is 60% lower.
