Broken Jag
We had a Tan Jag that was labeled "Bad", so I tested it with a little Bane Bot motor which was only pulling 2 Amps. At first it would only run Forwards. I checked the limit switches and they where both closed. Then it stopped driving the motor all together. I was saying that it was outputting voltage but all i could here was a very quiet high frequency hum. It started dropping the CAN Bus connection and then it just wouldn't talk to me anymore and the light stayed off. Is there a way we can get if fixed or replaced?

Re: Broken Jag
i know my team invested in fixing our jags (we had $1000 blow up in less than a sec.). so far (from what i know) we are going through components, testing them and replacing the broken ones. black ones can be sent to be fixed for free (if i remember right)

Re: Broken Jag
Doc,
You can check with the factory but the condition you describe was typical of the gate driver chip taking a hike. Those chips are no longer available for the old Jags so you might not get very far. The manufacturer may have kept enough in stock for repairs so you need to check. |
