Smile Re: Kinect Programming

I was just looking at the kinect sample programs and they dont seem to complicated for the autonomous. I cant seem to think of a way that i could use it to find the balls, targets if used on the robots.

Anyone know how to work with the kinect on the robot?

Lots of people know what it would take to make the Kinect work on the robot. Only a very small handful of those people believe it could be worth the added effort and expense.

My advice: if you don't already have a good handle on what you would have to do in order to connect a Kinect, don't worry about it. Just focus on building a robot that works without one.

I found this PDF on how to link Kinect with driver-station, and program in LabView. Hope it helps!
