20DP Delrin Gears

So in looking for 20 DP gears, I found these:
http://www.sandeepindustries.com/pla...ded_gears.html
Our team is looking to use them in our drivetrain in order to create a custom gear box, specifically, the 80 tooth one. Would these hold up? Also if not, does anybody know where to get 20dp gears somewhere in the 75 to 85 tooth range?
Thank you so much,
Nathan

for drivetrain use, I'd suggest pocketed steel or solid AL gears. Plastic gears are too flimsy; they are mainly for lighter loads with less torque.

Re: 20DP Delrin Gears

So I have found gears that might work, but they all have 20 degree pressure angles. I am not experienced enough with gears to know whether these would be completely incompatible with the 14.5 pressure angle gears from AndyMark. Any advice?

Re: 20DP Delrin Gears

Yes, they would be completely incompatible. Gears need the same DP and pressure angle to work together.
