The difference lies in the use of 24 volt pneumatic valves and the associated wiring to the Crio solenoid module.

To elaborate: If you are NOT using any Pneumatic Solenoid Valves that operate on 24 Volts, use the 12 V diagram. Otherwise, the 24 V diagram shows you how to supply those valves with 24 V legally. Note that they do make solenoid valves that operate on 12 V.
