Ball weights

Measure the weight of the three balls you got in you KoP and post the weight of each in this thread.
So that every one can get a idea of the variations in weight that they have.

Re: Ball weights

Each ball weighs approximately 0.7 lbs.

So 3*0.7= 2.1 lbs.

Re: Ball weights

305.1 g
302.1 g
303.2 g

So currently I see a 1% difference in weight. At 50 feet that might be a 6inch difference in distance. If other people add their number we will have data that has statistic meaning. My observations here are meaningless because 3 is not a meaningful sample size.

Re: Ball weights

Using the 3 ball weights posted below and our 3 weights I ran a 1000 piece random sample in Mintab based upon the average & standard deviation of the 6 to estimate the population....

Stem-and-leaf of Weight l N = 1000
Leaf Unit = 0.0010

2 61 07
16 62 02446666777889
66 63 00001111222333334444555555566667777777788888899999
236 64 00000000000111111111111112222222222233333333333333 34444+
(289) 65 00000000000000001111111111111111111112222222222222 22222+
475 66 00000000000000000000000001111111111111111111111111 22222+
220 67 00000000000000000000011111111111111122222222222222 22222+
65 68 000000111111122222333333344444455556666667777789
17 69 000122244467889
2 70 56

Summary:
Min ~ .610 lbs
Mean ~ .651 lbs
Max ~ .706 lbs

More than 6 samples will improve the estimate of the population however it looks fairly tight...
