New Andymark motors: Thoughts

What are your thoughts on the new Andymark motors? They look interesting, and seem like they have many applications, but I like other's opinions.

Thanks!

I originally thought they were meant to be the replacement for globe motors, but I was surprised when I saw it in the KOP. It's bigger and heavier than I expected. We haven't tested anything with it yet, though, so I'll withhold any further judgment until then.

krazyman1013 is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: New Andymark motors: Thoughts

They run at 179 Watts (without the gearbox) so they are reliable in areas that need more power than BB motors and less than an FP.

Re: New Andymark motors: Thoughts

There are a lot of thoughts and updated, corrected specs on the AndyMark motors in the 2012 Motor Thread. Take a look over there and join the conversation.
