Sweet! This years game according to Jason (via Ken), indicates that the game is a DECATHLON (10 events or GOALS to achieve), and the winner is the team that accumulates the most points from participating in those ten events. Just think, you'll need speed for the 10 meter race, power for the weight lifting/tractor pull, the ability to throw a javelin and shot putt. Etc, etc, etc....
Thus no scoring, as we know it and it also supports the announcement by FIRST that there will be many format changes! NO ALLIANCES, 10 goals, and the parabola/projectile formula (hint) is tied into the event by the ability to throw a nerf javelin! Whew... that's alot to think about! |
