LabView Installation Error

I'm trying to install the new version of LabView from the flash drive in the kit (which is awesome by the way) and I keep getting an error in the installer. I don't have the exact error but it says something about firewalls. I think its numbered 1938. I'm at a team meeting now and when I get home I'll post the correct error info.

Re: LabView Installation Error

Okay I lied its not a firewall issue. It is error 1935 but its for 2011 not Version 7. The exact error is "NV VC2005MSMs x64 installation has failed with the following error: Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'policy.8.0.Microsoft.VC80.Open.MP,type="win32-policy",version="8.0.50727.5592",publicKeyToken="1 fc8b3b9a1e18e3b" theres more but I think you get the gist.

Re: LabView Installation Error

Did you turn off your antivirus software?

See http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/all...256FB1004E448F for the official NI response to error 1935. Microsoft also has a Knowledge Base article at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/902330 .
