2012 Question & Answer System

Is it just me, or is the 2012 Q&A system missing some key features? I haven't been able to find many of the most useful functions of the forum-based Q&A, such as:

- Follow all questions/answers (without having to manually Follow each one individually)
- Follow everything in a given subsection
- Highlight read/unread questions/answers
- Specify whether to receive a daily digest or individual emails from followed topics

Perhaps there are ways to do some of these things that I haven't found yet. But so far, my experience has been rather disappointing.

Re: 2012 Question & Answer System

I have to agree. My email notifications also aren't working correctly; I got at least one "Question you are following in FRC Q and A has been answered" that did not include an answer. (Sort of anticlimactic, if you ask me...)

Still, it seems a little cleaner than the previous system. Plus, you can see all the questions people have asked. We submitted a few questions last year that seemed to just get "lost", never to be answered. At least this is more transparent.

Re: 2012 Question & Answer System

When searching, leave the search area blank, and everything is shown. Easier than one at a time.

Re: 2012 Question & Answer System

I agree that some of the new features are nice. But given the number of daily updates to the Q&A, it looks like it's not going to be easy to pick out the new information - especially after there are hundreds of entries. Forum features like highlighting new messages, or sending email notifications for all new posts, made that task much easier.
