KOP Wheels and Bearings

The bearings supplied with the chassis kit do not fit flush in the wheels. Do any teams have a reccommendation for a fix? (ie. size of bearing to order or whether this is a non issue)

Re: KOP Wheels and Bearings

It should not be an issue if the bearing sticks out of the wheel a little bit.

Re: KOP Wheels and Bearings

Yeah, we just noticed that the wheel sprockets have a much larger hole than last year's. Only thing is the axle spacers may need trimming.

Re: KOP Wheels and Bearings

We didn't have to trim anything, it all went together just fine. One thing that did cause a slight problem was not seating the bearings all the way, if you don't, then they'll be crooked and the axle won't go thru easily. Easy to fix, just push harder on the wheel (when it's laying on the work bench) to force the bearings in as far as they can go.
