LabView 2011 Install Problems

Look I know this is a repost but I need a fix ASAP. Every time I try to install LabView from the drive included in the kit I get an error.

What I've done so far:
Turned off my firewall.
Completely uninstalled everything LabView using Revo Uninstaller.
Tried our flash drive.
Tried team 48's drive (has been 2 times to my knowledge).
Tried our drive.
Searched the error on LabViews site.
Searched the error here.
I haven't had access to another computer to install it on.

Here's the picture of the error along with the install progress.

The screenshot is better then your last post, but an answer has been posted for you. Double posting only causes confusion for people with the same error.

Re: LabView 2011 Install Problems

Yeah I know. I tried to delete the first post but I cant do it. The old one is too cluttered with false stuff and clutter. I have gone through all of the posts made there and none of them come up with the answer or tell me something that wasn't in a previous post. I'm sorry if I sound impatient but my team is gonna kill me if I don't figure something out in the next 24 hours.

Re: LabView 2011 Install Problems

Have you tried installing without your firewall, antivirus, and any other anti-malware software enabled? Temporarily turning them off, (even if that means disconnecting from the internet for self imposed security.) and then installing LabVIEW. The MS firewall and security essentials play nice with LabVIEW. So did AVG a few versions back. I have not tested anything else.

Re: LabView 2011 Install Problems

Have you tried to copy the installer to your hard-drive and run it from there?

Re: LabView 2011 Install Problems

I had a similar problem while installing Labview. It has to do with the configuration of your machine. The machine does not allow for Labview to install the C++ redistributable that it needs. To fix it, you need to do the following.

1. If you have a 64bit operating system, download and install both package 1 & 2. If you only have an 32bit operating system, download only package 1.

Package 1
Package 2

2. Run the installer again, it will still return this error, however, you want to instead continue the installation. It will repeat this message multiple times, so you will need to tell it to continue each time.
3. Labview should now work just fine. I have yet to have any problems with it. Autodesk will also return you a similar error, however it will not let you skip so easily. If you should try to install Autodesk on that computer, feel free to contact me for help.

Re: LabView 2011 Install Problems

BD that's exactly what I needed, a different solution. I tried to install that and it came up with an almost identical error. I've been doing some searching on my own and its coming up with my lack of Visual Studio on my laptop. I don't know how that happened but I'll figure something out.

Even after having installed visual studio, I still had the same problem. You should only need the redistributable to fix it. It will always return an error while installing, as long as you continue the installation, the program seems to work fine.

Re: LabView 2011 Install Problems

I'm so desperate right now that I'm just gonna reinstall windows 7 and see what happens.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, this did not fix it on my computer.

Re: LabView 2011 Install Problems

Have you uninstalled all things National Instruments on your computer? Not just LabVIEW.

Re: LabView 2011 Install Problems

Okay so I reinstalled windows and I went to install LabView and it WORKED. But I have no Robotics Vi's and it doesn't give me the option to create a cRIO project or a Robot Project or anything. And I tried running the FRC Tools exe on the flash drive to no progress. Any ideas.
