Andy Mark Plaction Wheel Dimension Discrepancy!

Hello All!

Looking for some clarification. On the Andy Mark webpage the width of the 8" Plaction wheel is 1.54" Inches. I've downloaded the Inventor Model and it measures around 1.625". Of course I found this out after building my model and going crazy trying to figure out why a spacer was off! (drove me nuts)!! It was completely my fault for assuming the width of the wheel model would be the same as the listed width on the website.

Does anyone have an actual width (a measurement from an actual 8" wheel) or could Andy Mark (If he reads this) post clarification as to which is the correct dimension!

-Going crazy with constraints in New York!

Re: Andy Mark Plaction Wheel Dimension Discrepancy!

I believe its simply a mistype. Looking at the actual part drawing the hub width is listed as 1.640 inches. I don't have a physical wheel to measure but I noticed this too doing some research into using 8" Plaction wheels this year.

Thanks! After Looking at the Inventor File I thought it was more likely a website misprint but wanted to be sure.

Re: Andy Mark Plaction Wheel Dimension Discrepancy!

Just got off the Phone with AndyMark - The Inventor STEP file and the PDF CAD drawing showing 1.64" as the Width at the hub are correct - so for anyone else looking to use these - hopefully this helps. I'm sure they'll update the website with the correct dimension. Back to work!
