What sticks off of the alliance wall, the frame and backboards or just backboards?

Hi, Team 888's official internet nerd here:

We're trying to assemble ourselves a replica hoop set, but in order to attach the bumper and the place the key in the right areas, we need to know this:

Is the frame holding the hoops attached to the wall, or do only the backboards extend from the wall?
