How can I get a USB webcam's image into labview?

Re: USB camera
If you want to connect it to the crio you are out of luck, unless you want to have another computer (probably net-book) on your robot which streams either the image or some other processed value to the crio over an Ethernet connection.
It just seems easier to use the axis camera. |

Re: USB camera
I haven't used them, but searching found webcamlabview.sourceforge.net. IMAQdx would be my normal answer, but I didn't find a free download, and it wasn't included in the FIRST install images.

Re: USB camera
The USB IMAQ drivers used to be a separate download, and could be found for free while in Beta. When they were integrated with the VISION module, they are required to be purchased and activated. (Included with some hardware by NI.) I have used the USB drivers, the Axis camera has much better performance.
