Direct Drive Launcher Motor Help

Hey guys, we were wondering what would be the best way to directly power a wheel that will be mounted on our launcher. The motor will be a Bane Bot with a rs775-18 planetary gearbox. The wheel is a 4 inch plaction off Andy Mark.

Any suggestions for hubs, axles, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ryan

Re: Direct Drive Launcher Motor Help

AndyMark has a set of hubs that would fit the plaction wheel: http://www.andymark.com/Hubs-s/215.htm

You can get couplers and a longer shaft of McMaster to extend the shaft from the gearbox, which I believe is an 1/2 inch keyed shaft.

We are doing something similar but using the CImulator gearbox.
