Hey Cogheads, thanks for your hard work getting the updates and sample files up for the 2012 FIRST robotics competition!

I've been working with a couple students on setting up our team Hammer Bot 2012 robot design in robotBuilder 2.6 Beta. We've imported our parts from SolidWorks and Inventor. It's been very helpful to see how you set up our previous years' bots in your sample files. Those who were on last year's team got a kick out of driving their virtual 2011 bot!

The 2012 FIRST field you posted looks great in robotSim! Right off the bat I was shooting baskets with your demo bot! Just had to look up the keys you used for driving and shooting in Device Controls. I'm anxious to test out the Kinect with it!

Getting Started: Importing and Activating Your Robot Models

In this webinar we will start by importing a model in robotBuilder. This model will be the base of a new robot that we will create step by step.

This webinar will cover:

1. Giving your robot realistic behaviors by adding physical properties such as colliders and rigidbodies
2. How to add controllable roles (such as servos and motors) to your robotic components
3. Connecting your robot's controls to the keyboard

Going to necro this thread to ask if Cogmation has anything up it's sleeve for this or next season, since NI's Simulator in LabVIEW has been nerfed in the FRC Code this year, and RobotSim and Builder would be mucho helpful this year.
