Go to Post Many students I have met will insist that nothing is better than FIRST robotics. And most people would agree that a ham sandwich is better than nothing. So does it logically follow that a ham sandwich is better than FIRST robotics? - tsaksa [more]

Need help putting labview on the pc2go?

We need help putting labview on the pc2go but we got the labview cd's and nothing on the flash drive with labview.

I installed the evaluation one and used the labview codes we got, but it won't bring up the labview for Frc style when it's up. It has all the updates too but won't do anything other than look like the original labview.

Re: Need help putting labview on the pc2go?

FRC doesn't use any LabVIEW installation CDs or DVDs.
The FRC version of LabVIEW is special and came in the Kit-of-Parts.
It's NOT on the white/green USB for the Classmate.

The USB for it can be easy to miss. It was in the same plastic bag as the reflective tape, in a CD shaped cardboard sleeve. Inside though it has a credit card looking thing. Embedded in the credit card is a USB stick containing LabVIEW.

The case looks like the first attachment, and the credit card/USB looks like the second.

Oh wow I completely forgot that I actually used that and gave it to another team mate. Well if I want to write the prgramming on another computer can I just save the program then put it on a USB for the mypc2go? Not labview but the mainrobot.vi?

You can also load your program from the other computer. We don't use the classmate for anything related to programming.
