Re: 5mm pitch HTD belt in Design Accelerator
Is no one going to answer my question?
I don't really have a problem with the fact that my thread has been hijacked, I'd just like to have an answer. |

Re: 5mm pitch HTD belt in Design Accelerator
I am checking the specifications of the belts you have requested against the Gates information. Some possibilities,
1. Create the belt with Design Accelerator using the closest match. Then modify the Inventor paramaters to match the Gates parameters. 2. Use the data from Gates and then model the belt as a part. You have the length, sprocket diameters etc. So I think this is doable. Will try to get back to you tomorrow. |

Re: 5mm pitch HTD belt in Design Accelerator
52.4 inches seems to be in a deadband in Gates belts.
Can you adjust that length in your design? Add a snub pulley? Last edited by Justin Montois : 22-01-2012 at 20:28. |
