Exclamation BOOTMGR is missing on 2012 image

Hello,

Team 869 is having extreme difficulty with getting this image to work. After 2 weeks we have finally been able to get the classmate to boot off another flash drive with an E09 image (since we have the old classmate). However, when the installer finally finished, the error
"Error restoring image.

The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.

adjusting boot files...
Failure when attempting to copy boot files.

Hiding system partition."

Now our classmate is dead in the water. Any help would be greatly appreciated, we need to start testing code!

Thanks in advance,

Team 869

Re: BOOTMGR is missing on 2012 image

If you still have the original E09 USB stick, try sticking it in a USB hub and sticking the hub into the Classmate and redo the imaging.

I'm thinking you might have missed something when creating the new USB image and I have found the above technique to make unusable USB sticks from the KOP, usable.

Thanks, but I just tried, and now I'm getting the "A Disk Read Error Occurred
Press Ctrl+Alt+De; to restart"

This, is a nightmare haha.
