I would assume that the rumor is false because FIRST would have updated there site in regrads to the 9am workshop for pnuematics being held on Friday Check out the schedule

I think that if pneumatics weren't going to be in the kit they would have removed this info from the site or at least contacted those teams attending to let them know not to go cause if they did cancel and didn't tell teams there would be some pretty ticked people wasting there time.
