Our team just got a "new" laptop and it runs XP. Is it possible to reimage this to windows 7 with the KOP reimaging drive?

Re: KOP Reimage with non-classmate
It is highly recommended that you NOT do this. The Classmate image is designed for a Classmate and contains drivers and configuration appropriate for such.

Re: KOP Reimage with non-classmate
Is it possible? It was a donated laptop and it currently runs XP. If not, what are our other options to get this up to windows 7?

The only reasonable way to put Windows 7 on your "new" laptop is to legally obtain a Windows 7 installation disk and use it in the normal fashion. Your school or one of your sponsors might be able to help you obtain such a disk as part of a site license agreement with Microsoft; it can't hurt to ask. |
