2 years ago I was a newbie like the one you are referring to. I didnt know anything, I had limited mechanical skills. I joined because I thought it would be a cool thing to do. Now in that first year, I wanted to learn. I went to every meeting (Which was a feat in itself since our build site was 40 minutes away.) I went to regionals. At regionals I helped scout for the team. Well throughout that year, I wanted to learn all about mechanics. Due to the disorganized nature of our team, I mainly sat around and watched. This brings me to last year. Last year I knew a little more and throughout the season I learned many many things. I attened all the competitions, and held a place on the drive team. This year, I am the acting captain, and without me the team would be lost. So. I started as a newbie, I cared, I learned, and now I am in charge. Can you show me one criteria I fit in your post just because I started as a "newbie" Oh yeah and that went over M's head? Yeah right. I have never seen anything go over M's head. YOU?!?! tell M!?!?!? to think before giving a response? please take your own advice. It is clearly obvious that M does and always will understand more than you. PLEASE dont bash people because they dont know things.(For that matter, dont bash them at all) Have you tried teaching them? If so, did they want to learn? Has it ever occurred to you that like me, they were never given a chance to learn?. Since you can bash people for not knowing anything, Im glad that you came into FIRST as a freshman and knew everything. As for the rest of us, obviously we are better off. If you want everyone to know how ignorant you are, you have just shown us. That and the fact that you have a serious lack of respect (/Me is astonished) Im sorry that was so long, but I have very strong feelings about this topic.
