But I'll jump to the chase. NI makes modules such as the 9263 and 9269 that are C-series. That means they snap in to the cRIO like the FRC modules. But the platform is not a general PC, and I suspect you are wanting to make sounds for fun or entertainment. There are plenty of ways, cheap ways, to do that. The cRIO isn't really meant to be one of them.

Oh well that's highly disappointing :/ we wanted to have to play a sound when we threw basketballs just for fun. :/
